The Phillies got bludgeoned on Friday night 10-1 to completely wipe out the prior 5 game win streak but I guess sometimes you gotta hit rock bottom before bouncing back. After loss 11,211, the Phils won 2 straight to take the series and look MUCH more like a competent baseball team. Let’s Ring the Bell!

Downward Spiral

The Phillies? Yea they stink. After a 7-4 loss to Wednesday afternoon, number 11,210 of all time. The Fightin' Phils are almost read to give back that 5 game win streak after 4 straight losses. They got swept outta San Fran and head home sitting 3 games under .500 and really struggling to put it all together.

Three Down

The Phillies took their Rockie Mountain High into San Francisco and so far, have gotten toasted. Monday, they had the heart to go down nice and early letting the east coaster tap out and get some sleep. Tuesday the team showed signs of life and even got it to a run in the ninth but ultimately some sloppy play in the field and inability to capitalize with runners in scoring set the team back twice in the first two game of the series, losses number 11,208 and 11,209 of all time.. We deserve this one today... WHOMP WHOMP WHOMP.

Sunday Salvage at the Yard

It was an awful tough weekend for the Philadelphia teams down in South Philly and things were certainly looking bleak after a couple of losses Friday and Saturday from the Phils to the streaking Sox as the Sixers also failed to take care of business against the Celtics... Lost Angeles

Bryce Harper returned to his MVP form Wednesday afternoon and the Phillies turned in just a classic Phillies performance... That is, blowing the game not once in pathetic fashion, but twice with a spectacular fail from both of their “closers”. Feels like they lost the game twice but it only counts once in the records books. Loss number 11,203 of all time, 3 game sweep to LA, and 4 straight losses as the Phils head home. Whomp Whomp.

Batman Returns... Again
