We’re back at it after a week away, but the Phillies patented June surge took no rest this past week, the Fightins had a setback exactly one week ago today with a tough 9-8 loss to the DBacks, number 11,221 of all time, but then ripped off six straight DUBS to win the series in Arizona and sweeo the Athletics in Oakland. Let’s Ring the Bell for the Red Hot Phillies!

Clemens Picks Up Pen with Walk-off Knock

My triumphant return to Citizens Bank Park had to wait an extra day but as the smoke (sort of) cleared the Phillies got back on their field with another dominant effort from their rotation.. The bullpen struggled and blew it but a little ninth inning rally capped by a Kody Clemens walk-off got the Phillies their 5th straight win and a home sweep over the visiting Tigers, Let’s Ring the Bell for a walk-off win!

This Weekend's series with the Nats got off to a rocky start as Zack Wheeler uncharacteristically struggled Friday and led the Phils to their fifth straight loss, 11,219 of all time.. But the boys bounced back in a big way to win the series with a pair of victories Saturday and Sunday as Kyle Schwarber finally found that home run stroke..
