In the words of Phillies radio broadcaster Michael Bourn: OH SH* T! A Blake Snell fastball sent shockwaves through Phillies nation long after many of us on the east coast had gone to bed on Saturday. A high inside fastball caught Bryce Harper on the hand, fracturing his left thumb and sending the reigning NL MVP to the injured list indefinitely. The Phillies did manage to win three of four to close a solid 7-4 road trip, but this was a tough one to swallow.
